Comunicado de Sociólogos sin Fronteras Latinoamerica – SSFL
Estimados amigos de SSF Think Tank:
SOCIÓLOGOS SIN FRONTERAS LATINOAMÉRICA (SSFL) abrió dos talleres en La Cumbre de los Pueblos que se realizarán a 17 y 19 de Junio.
Se trata de un espacio donde nuestros amigos de SSF Think Tank pueden proponer sus contribuciones sobre los temas que consideran importantes para combinar Sociología y Solidaridad en la Cumbre de los Pueblos. Sin embargo, se contempla el propósito de discutir los principios de responsabilidad universal, con respecto a los fundamentos éticos y filosóficos: la subjetividad, la dominación y la emancipación.
La percepción de la SSF como lugar donde sociología y solidaridad coordinan tiene mucho que ver con esta reunión de la Cumbre de los Pueblos.
La orientación hasta nuevas formas de vida en solidaridad pone en cuestión las desigualdades sociales, abre un espacio para la crítica de la hegemonía burguesa y del sistema financiero sin control social.
Los SOCIOLOGOS SIN FRONTERAS están directamente involucrados en estas manifestaciones de “los de bajo” en virtud de solidaridad reconocida en diversos aspectos de La Carta de Responsabilidades Universales adoptadas por La Cumbre de los Pueblos.
Por lo tanto, entre otras propuestas presentadas en las dos workshops planeadas, se tiene en vista desarrollar actividades que fortalezcan los principios siguientes:
Principios de la Responsabilidad Universal
1. El ejercicio por parte de cada uno de esas Responsabilidades es la expresión de su libertad y de su dignidad de ciudadano de la comunidad universal;
2. Cada ciudadano y todos juntos tienen una co-responsabilidad en relación a los otros, a la comunidad próxima o lejana, y en relación al planeta, según los haberes, los poderes y los saberes de cada uno.
3. Esta responsabilidad implica tener en cuenta los efectos inmediatos y diferidos de sus actos, de tomar recaudo o de compensar los daños, aunque estos hayan sido o no cometidos involuntariamente, que ellos afecten o no a los sujetos de derecho. Ella se aplica a todos los sectores de la actividad humana y a todas las escalas en tiempo y espacio.
4. Esta responsabilidad no prescribe cuando el daño es irreversible.
5. La responsabilidad de las instituciones, tanto públicas como privadas, sean cuales fueren las reglas que las rigen, no exonera la responsabilidad de sus dirigentes y recíprocamente;
6. Poseer o disfrutar de un recurso natural induce a la responsabilidad de su administración persiguiendo el bien común;
7. El ejercicio de un poder, a pesar de las reglas correspondientes por derecho, sólo es legítimo si se torna responsable de los actos frente a las personas

sobre las cuales se impone, y si se ve acompañado por reglas de responsabilidad a la altura del poder de influencia ejercido.
8. Nadie puede exonerarse de su responsabilidad en nombre de una imposibilidad, si no ha hecho el esfuerzo de unirse a otros, o en nombre de la ignorancia, si no ha hecho el esfuerzo de informarse.

Announcement from Sociologists without Borders LATIN AMERICA (SSFL)
Dear Friends of SSF Think Tank:
Sociologists without Borders LATIN AMERICA (SSFL) have opened two workshops in the People's Summit that will take place on June 17th and 19th.
This is a place where our friends of SSF Think Tank can submit their contributions on the subjects they consider important to combine sociology and Solidarity in the People's Summit.
Also, it includes the purpose of discussing the principles of universal responsibility with respect to the ethical and philosophical fundaments: subjectivity, domination and emancipation.
The perception of SSF as a place to coordinate sociology and solidarity is very connected with People's Summit.
The orientation for new ways of living in solidarity raise questions about the social inequalities and opens a space for criticism about the bourgeois hegemony and the financial system without social control.
Sociologists without Borders are directly involved in these manifestations of “los de bajo” due to solidarity that is recognized in various aspects of the Charter of Universal Responsibilities adopted by the People's Summit.
Therefore, among other proposals in the two workshops planned, one has in mind to develop activities that strengthen the following principles:
Principles of Universal Responsibility
1. The exercise of one’s responsibilities is the expression of one’s freedom and dignity as a citizen of the world community.
2. Every citizen and everyone together has a shared responsibility among each other, from close to distant communities, and to the planet, according to their assets, power and knowledge.
3. Such responsibility involves taking into account the immediate or deferred effects of all acts, preventing or offsetting their damages, no metter if they occur voluntarily and whether or not they affect subjects of law. It applies to all fields of human activity and to all scales of time and space.
4. Such responsibility is imprescriptible from the moment the damage is irreversible.
5. The responsibility of institutions, public or private, no matter which rules they follow, does not exonerate the responsibility of their leaders and vice versa.
6. The possession or enjoyment of a natural resource induces responsibility to manage it to the best of the common good.
7. The exercise of power, besides the rules correspondent by right, is legitim only if it becomes responsible for the acts of the people under its rules. It comes together with rules of responsability according to the power of influence being exercised.
8. No one is exempted of its own repsonsabilities in name of an impossibility if he or she has not tried to get together to others ,or, in name of ignorance if he or she has not made an effort to be informed.
